Background
I started piano lessons in 4th grade, which is usually considered late. I started singing in school chorus that same year. Throughout my pre college years, I always pursued both. I ultimately chose to major in Music Education-Choral as a piano major and voice minor. I was fortunate to be involved in high level artistry whether it was Governors Honors and All-State in high school, performances and competitions in college or singing with the late Robert Shaw in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus after college.
Teach In Harmony

Grad School
After teaching for a few years, I applied to many graduate schools across the US. I chose The University of Oklahoma for its national reputation in piano pedagogy. I earned a Masters of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. I was a TA as an Elementary Education Music Specialist (integrating music into elementary school curriculum) and Piano Instructor to OU voice majors. I loved my time, surrounded by excellence and studying from elite faculty.
and Beyond...
Dave and I found each other and got married eventually settling in Atlanta. I opened my piano studio while also teaching classroom music. Recently, I have returned to choral accompanying. and I haven't looked back.

Our Family
I have been blessed to have 3 wonderful kids. My husband Dave and I argue about SEC football but that's about it. I love to play tennis, drink coffee, go to the gym and watch British TV shows.
